Dr Annabel Kain
BMBS, DipPaed, FRACGP

Annabel has been a doctor since 2002 and has worked in the Inner West for over a decade, including five years in Aboriginal Health. She completed her training as a General Practitioner in 2009. She has a Diploma in Paediatrics and Child health and is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program.
Annabel particularly enjoys caring for all members of the one family, from infants to the elderly. She also has a special interest in Men’s Health.

Erskineville Doctors has been owned by Dr Annabel Kain and Dr Jenny Lonergan since 2015.

Annabel is available for appointments Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Annabel is not taking new patients at this time.

Dr Madeleine Max is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours from the University of NSW followed by a post graduate medical degree from the University of Notre Dame. She underwent her training at Nepean Hospital and pursued her career further with additional training in Rehabilitation Medicine.

Madeleine enjoys areas of general practice with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health.  She is an accredited antenatal shared care provider through RPA and Canterbury Hospitals.

Madeleine is available for appointments Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Michael Tran’s books are currently closed.

Michael graduated from University of New South Wales in 2011. He worked as a junior doctor at Westmead, Orange and Coffs Harbour Base Hospitals. He was a Paediatric registrar at the Children’s Hospital Westmead and has also spent time working and learning in the Northern Territory and South Africa.

Michael is a lecturer and co-convener of the Primary Care program at the University of New South Wales.

Michael has wide-ranging interests including Child health, Reproductive health, Sports medicine, Mental health, and Dermatology. He has a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health through Family Planning Australia and can insert and remove contraceptive devices including IUDs. He holds Professional Certificates in both general dermatology and skin cancer medicine.

Michael is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program as well as Royal North Shore, Hornsby, St George, and Sutherland Hospitals.

Michael is available on Monday and Wednesday.

Dr Spencer Rogers – MBBS, FRACGP

Spencer completed his medical training at Monash University in Melbourne. He worked at hospitals in Melbourne’s east, where he gained experience in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, and Emergency Medicine, before making the move to General Practice.

Spencer has a special interest in preventative health and sexual health.

He has a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and can insert and remove Implanon and IUD devices. Spencer is also experienced in PrEP prescribing.

Spencer is available for appointments Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Jennifer Lonergan

BMed (Hons), DRANZCOG, MPH, DCH, FRACGP

Jenny has been a doctor since 1998 and a General Practitioner since 2000. In additional to her clinical practice, she has worked as a medical educator and a GP Supervisor. Erskineville Doctors has been owned by Dr Annabel Kain and Dr Jenny Lonergan since 2015.

Jenny worked in Aboriginal health for over ten years and has Diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Child health.  She is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program.

Jenny enjoys the variety of General Practice, but has a special interest in managing acute, complex and chronic health conditions.

Jenny is available for appointments, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Jenny is not taking new patients at this time. 

Patti has been a doctor since 1978 and has worked as a GP in Erskineville since 1985, when she first established the Erskineville Doctors practice. She has postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology and a Diploma in Child Health. She has a wide range of interests including Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Mental Health, skin checks and antenatal shared care.

Patti is available for appointments Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Walton is not taking new patients at this time.

Cara has been a GP for over 25 years, and has a wide range of experience. She has worked for many years in Aboriginal Health and has extensive experience in antenatal shared care and care of newborns. Cara has also supervised GP Registrars for many years and sees patients at the Hornsby General Practice Unit.

Cara is available on Mondays and Thursdays.

John has been a doctor since 2014 and worked at Royal Hobart Hospital and St George Hospital before completing his training as a General Practitioner.

He has a Diploma in Child Health.

John enjoys the variety of General Practice, but has a special interest Child and youth health, Preventative health, Men’s health and is experienced in PrEP prescribing.

He loves sport, especially rugby and particularly enjoys caring for those with Musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr Kevin is available Tuesday and Friday.

Joseph has been a doctor since 2008 and worked in various fields of medicine before completing his training as a General Practitioner in 2017.

He has a special interest in Aboriginal health, Older persons’ health, Palliative care, Migrant health.

Joseph is available on Monday and Thursday.

Dr Chung also sees patients at NOW Medical Centre in Eastwood.

Nicolette is an experienced GP and loves seeing patients of all ages. She has a particular interest in pediatrics, women’s health, skin checks/dermatology and addiction medicine.

Nicolette is available on Tuesdays.

Dr Linda Taoube graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998 and has been working in General Practice since 2000. She has completed postgraduate qualifications in the areas of Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Dermatology and Medical Education. She works part-time as a GP with a wide range of interests across various patient presentations. In addition, Dr Taoube is a lecturer and an educator of medical students at the University of Sydney (Specialty of General Practice) as well as being involved in the training and assessment of future GPs.

Catherine has been a doctor since 1984 and a General Practitioner since 1988.  In addition to her clinical work she has done overseas medical aid work and currently sits on the tribunal for the NCAT Guardianship Division.  Catherine worked in Aboriginal health for 6 years and has a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning NSW.  Catherine enjoys all aspects of GP work.  She has a special interest in  reproductive and sexual health. She is certified to advise on  menopause, contraceptive methods and to insert  all types of IUDs (intrauterine devices)  and  implanon (hormonal implants)

Dr Pratten’s website

Dr Shereena graduated in 2007. She enjoys the diversity of General Practice, and has particular interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and preventative health care. Shereena is an Antenatal Shared Care GP and also works at Tresillian Family Care Centres supporting mothers of children aged 0-3. She holds a Diploma in Dermatology and undertakes skin checks and basic skin cancer excisions.

Shereena  will return in January 2023
