Dr Damian Gill is not taking new patients.

Damian completed a Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at UNSW and is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Before transitioning into general practice, Damian gained experience across a range of medical specialties while working at St. Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

Damian enjoys all aspects of general practice and has particular interests in paediatrics, including child development, cardiovascular disease and respiratory disease. He is also passionate about proactive preventative healthcare and supporting patients to live well into old age. To complement his clinical work, Damian is currently completing a Masters of Public Health, with a focus on health promotion and health advocacy. He has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program.

Outside of medicine, Damian enjoys reading, hiking, playing field hockey, and spending time with his family.

Dr Kate Evans
MBChB (Otago), FRNZCGP

Kate completed her medical studies and GP training in New Zealand, and has recently relocated to Sydney. Kate enjoys the variety of general practice and cares for patients across all stages of life. Her areas of interest include preventative health, women’s health and chronic disease management including diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Kate is certified to perform Implanon and IUD insertions and removals.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys cooking, running, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Kate is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Dr Brodie Hookins is not taking new patients.

Dr. Brodie Hookins graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2016 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours Class 1), following a Bachelor of Molecular Biology and Biological Chemistry from the University of Oslo, Norway. He achieved his specialist general practitioner fellowship in 2023 and holds certificates in women’s health, Sydney Children’s Health, and mental health training from the Black Dog Institute. He has also undertaken extra training in skin cancer medicine and surgical excision of skin cancers and is happy to be an affiliate with Sun Doctors.

Dr. Hookins offers a range of services encompassing: skin health (including cancer checks, skin cancer biopsy and excisions, and cosmetic procedures); men’s health (addressing issues like hair loss, testosterone deficiency, and sexual health); women’s health (including antenatal care, contraception, IUD insertion and removal, cervical screening, and menopause management); children’s health (developmental checks, vaccinations, and common childhood ailments); aged care (cognitive assessments and chronic disease management); and pain management.

Outside of work, he enjoys music, photography, kayaking, film, and bushwalking.

Dr Mabel Chew is not taking new patients.

Dr Mabel Chew graduated from the University of Sydney, and worked in Palliative Medicine and Aged Care before starting general practice in 1995. She has worked in the Inner West as a GP ever since. She is also a medical journal editor. Her interests in general practice are in women’s health, mental health and chronic pain management.

Mabel is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Tuesdays.

Dr Annabel Kain is not taking new patients.

Dr Annabel Kain has been a doctor since 2002 and has worked in the Inner West for over a decade, including five years in Aboriginal Health. She completed her training as a General Practitioner in 2009. She has a Diploma in Paediatrics and Child health and is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program.

Annabel particularly enjoys caring for all members of the one family, from infants to the elderly.

Annabel is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Erskineville Doctors has been owned by Dr Annabel Kain and Dr Jenny Lonergan since 2015.

Dr Cara Frame is not taking new patients.

Dr Cara Frame has been a General Practitioner for more than 25 years. In additional to her clinical practice, she has worked as a medical educator and a GP Supervisor.

Cara worked for many years in Aboriginal health and has a Diploma in Child Health.

Cara has a special interest in Pregnancy and reproductive health and particularly enjoys caring for newborns and their families.

She is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program.

Cara is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Dr Catherine Pratten has a special interest women’s reproductive and sexual health. 

Catherine worked in Aboriginal health for 6 years and has spent extended periods overseas doing medical aid work.

She has a special interest women’s reproductive and sexual health. She is certified to advise on menopause, contraceptive methods and can insert all types of IUDs (intrauterine devices) and Implanon (hormonal implants).

She has a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning NSW.

Catherine is available for appointments appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Thursday.

Catherine also works as a GP at Gymea Medical Practice.

Dr Jenny Lonergan is not taking new patients.

Dr Jenny Lonergan has been a doctor since 1998 and a General Practitioner since 2000. In additional to her clinical practice, she has worked as a medical educator and a GP Supervisor. Erskineville Doctors has been owned by Dr Annabel Kain and Dr Jenny Lonergan since 2015.

Jenny worked in Aboriginal health for over ten years and has Diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Child health.  She is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program.

Jenny enjoys the variety of General Practice, but has a special interest in managing acute, complex and chronic health conditions.

Jenny is available for appointments, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Dr John Kevin is not taking new patients.

Dr John Kevin has been a doctor since 2014 and worked at Royal Hobart Hospital and St George Hospital before completing his training as a General Practitioner.

He has a Diploma in Child Health.

John enjoys the variety of General Practice, but has a special interest Child and youth health, Preventative health, Men’s health and is experienced in PrEP prescribing.

He loves sport, especially rugby and particularly enjoys caring for those with Musculoskeletal conditions.

John is available for appointments Tuesday and Friday.

Dr Linda Taoube is not taking new patients.

Dr Linda Taoube graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998 and has been working in General Practice since 2000.

Linda has completed postgraduate qualifications in the areas of Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Dermatology and Medical Education.

She works part-time as a GP with a wide range of interests across various patient presentations. In addition, Dr Taoube is a lecturer and an educator of medical students at the University of Sydney (Specialty of General Practice) as well as being involved in the training and assessment of future GPs.

Linda is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Monday and Thursday.

Dr Madeleine Max is on leave until the end of 2026.

Dr Madeleine Max is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours from the University of NSW followed by a post graduate medical degree from the University of Notre Dame. She underwent her training at Nepean Hospital and pursued her career further with additional training in Rehabilitation Medicine.

Madeleine enjoys areas of general practice with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health.  She is an accredited antenatal shared care provider through RPA and Canterbury Hospitals.

Madeleine is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Wednesday and Friday.

She also works as a GP at Nuovo Health Medical Centre – Five Dock.

Dr Michael Tran is not taking new patients.

Dr Michael Tran graduated from University of New South Wales in 2011. He worked as a junior doctor at Westmead, Orange and Coffs Harbour Base Hospitals. He was a Paediatric registrar at the Children’s Hospital Westmead and has also spent time working and learning in the Northern Territory and South Africa.

Michael has wide-ranging interests including Child health, Reproductive health, Sports medicine, Mental health, and Dermatology. He has a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health through Family Planning Australia and can insert and remove contraceptive devices including IUDs. He holds Professional Certificates in both general dermatology and skin cancer medicine.

Michael is registered with the SLHD Antenatal Shared Care Program as well as Royal North Shore, Hornsby, St George, and Sutherland Hospitals.

Michael is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Monday and Wednesday.

Michael also works as a lecturer and co-convener of the Primary Care program at the University of New South Wales.

Dr Patricia Walton is not taking new patients.

Dr Patricia Walton has been a doctor since 1978 and has worked as a GP in Erskineville since 1985, when she first established the Erskineville Doctors practice. She has postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma in Child Health.

She has a wide range of interests including Child and youth health, Women’s health, Mental health, can perform skin checks and is registered with the RPA Antenatal Shared Care program.

Patti is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors Tuesday and Friday.

Dr Sorayya Cooper is not taking new patients.

Dr Sorayya Cooper graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017 and gained extensive experience in emergency medicine and paediatric care while working at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, and various regional hospitals across NSW.

Sorayya specialises in preventative health, women’s health, LGBTQI+ health, sexual health, and paediatrics. She has completed the Sydney Child Health Program as well as the Family Planning Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health. She is able to insert and remove both Implanons and IUDs, and provide medical terminations.

Sorayya is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors on Monday and Friday.

Shereena is not seeing new patients at this time

Please note, Dr Shereena Sinnayah is a private billing doctor. An out-of-pocket fee applies to all consultations.

Dr Shereena Sinnayah has been a doctor since 2007. She enjoys the diversity of General Practice, and has particular interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and preventative health care. Shereena is an Antenatal Shared Care GP and works at Tresillian Family Care Centre supporting mothers of children aged 0 – 3 years.

She holds a Diploma in Dermatology and undertakes skin checks and basic skin cancer excisions.

Shereena is available for appointments at Erskineville Doctors Tuesday and Thursday.
