New Patients

We welcome new patients at Erskineville DoctorsErskineville Doctors has ample capacity for new patients. Our usual practice is to book for a 30 minute appointment to allow time to collect a full medical history. If you have a single issue that needs to be dealt with urgently please advise our reception staff accordingly. Our Practice Nurse may also be able to triage the issue and organise a time to see one of the doctors promptly.

We are a private billing practice, with bulk-billing for specific patients. You can read about our fees here. To make an appointment call us on 9557 2266 or go to appointments to book online. We will ask you for contact details and your Medicare information.

First appointment

All new patients  are booked for a 30 minute appointment. This will give your doctor time to discuss and document your medical history.

If you book online, you will be sent a link with the applicable forms. We ask you to complete the relevant sections and it will be sent back to us. If you haven’t received this link it’s available below. 

If you are unable to complete the form online please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

We ask all patients to ring you Medicare card and some photo ID and any concession cards.

Transferring your records

If you have significant records at another medical practice we can help arrange for transfer of your medical records to our practice. Your old practice may charge an administrative fee for this service. We are asking other practices to export patient files as an xml file and save it to a USB or burn to a CD. This means we can easily import your full medical record. Any practice that uses Best Practice or Medical Director software can do this.

Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment

If you are unable to attend your booked appointment please call us to reschedule so that we can free up the appointment time for other patients.
