Flu vaccine

We have been provided flu vaccines by NSW Health for over 65s, pregnant women, and other people with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, COPD, severe asthma, and heart disease.

If you have plans to see one of our doctors over the next month or so, we can administer your vaccine during that consultation. If not, there are some spaces available to see our nurse.

It’s a good time to ask about other vaccines, check your medication list and scripts, update any specialist referrals, and check that you are up to date with other preventative health measures. If you have asthma or COPD it’s worth reviewing your medications and make sure you are using your inhalers properly.

Vaccines are also planned to be provided by NSW Health for  for children aged 6 months to 4 years, however the vaccines we have been provided to date are only suitable for children already aged 3, and there is no further information available on when to expect the vaccines for younger children.
